Privacy-friendly analytics
To understand how the website is used, we measure visits with OpenPanel, an open-source analytics tool. The data is sent to our own analytics service at a.advesign.com, and the scripts are loaded from our own website, not from ad networks or external analytics providers.
The measurement is designed to respect your privacy:
- We use no tracking cookies and store nothing in your browser to recognise you between visits.
- Your visit is anonymous and we do not try to find out who you are. You can only be identified if you choose to give us your details, for example when you book a call with us or fill in a form.
- We do not follow you to other websites or build advertising profiles.
What we measure
- Which pages are visited, and in what order
- Clicks on buttons and links, such as booking buttons, the language switch and links to other websites
- The referring website and campaign parameters (UTM), so we can see how visitors find us
- Approximate location at country or city level, and the type of device, browser and operating system
Session recordings
To see where our pages work well and where visitors get stuck, we record how the website is used during a visit: the page content, scrolling, mouse movements and clicks. Anything you type into form fields is masked in your browser before anything is sent, and is never recorded.
Why we process the data
We use the information only to:
- improve the content, structure and usability of the website
- develop and improve our services
- provide our services, for example by answering enquiries and making sure bookings work
- detect and fix technical problems
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website and services (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR). We have concluded that this interest outweighs the impact on your privacy, because the measurement is limited, does not aim to identify you and is not used for marketing aimed at you personally.
We do not share your data
We never sell, rent out or share the data with third parties, such as ad networks, data brokers or other companies, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
The data is handled by us. Providers that run our technical infrastructure, such as web hosting, may only process it on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions, and may not use it for their own purposes. We only disclose data where the law requires us to, for example following a decision by a public authority.
When you contact us
Only when you book a call with us, fill in a form or email us do we receive details that can identify you, such as your name, email address and company. We use them to reply to you and deliver the services you ask for. These details are not passed on and are not used for any other purpose.
How long we keep the data
We keep the data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described here. After that it is deleted, or anonymised so that it can no longer be linked to an individual visit.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- find out what data we process about you and receive a copy of it
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data erased
- restrict or object to the processing

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or services change. The latest version is always available on this page, and the date at the top shows when it was last changed.
